One unit was used in an Industrial peak shaving application for three years. The second unit was never installed in any application. These Generac Power Modules are built with the Mitsubishi S12H engine which is used in many applications around the world. The S12H is a trend-setting engine that employs mechanical unit injectors in the fuel injection system to make the engine compact, and features increased BMEP. Owing to various technical advancements, a specific fuel consumption of 197 g/(kWh) and an NOx emission of 840 ppm have been achieved. Furthermore, overload endurance tests, low cyclic endurance tests, and generator set tests have been carried out to prove its high reliability.
